Basketball NBA: New Jersey Net Brook Lopez out three weeksMarch 6, 2012 9:30amNew Jersey Nets center Brook Lopez sprained his right ankle during Sunday's (Monday, PHL time) game against the Charlotte Bobcats and is expected to miss three weeks, the team announced Monday (Tuesday, PHL time) via Twitter.?
The injury is the latest setback for the center, who also missed 32 games due to a broken foot suffered prior to the start of the season.

Lopez was seen as a crucial asset if the team were to make a deal for Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard, with the trade deadline scheduled on March 15 (March 16, PHL time).

In just five games this year, Lopez has averages of 19.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.8 blocks. Prior to the 2011-12 season, Lopez has never missed a game, playing full 82-game seasons since he was drafted back in 2008.

The team will have him wearing a walking boot as a precautionary measure and will issue an update on his condition on March 23 (March 24, PHL time).
