OKLAHOMA CITY — Russell Westbrook scored 28 points, Kevin Durant had 26 and the Oklahoma City Thunder began work on restoring its home-court dominance, beating the Portland Trail Blazers 111-95 Sunday night.
Western Conference-leading Oklahoma City moved to 10-1 this season in the game immediately after a loss. The Thunder had lost at home to the San Antonio Spurs on Friday.
Oklahoma City had lost three of its past four games at Chesapeake Energy Arena after opening the season 17-1 at home. That loss was to Portland, but to a different squad than the one the Blazers fielded Sunday.
Jamal Crawford, a graduate of Rainier Beach High School in Seattle, led Portland with 23 points.
Sunday's game was the second for the Blazers since firing coach Nate McMillan and trading starters Gerald Wallace and Marcus Camby on Thursday.
On Friday, Portland posted an improbable 100-89 victory over the league-leading Bulls in Chicago under interim coach Kaleb Canales.
Heat beats Magic
